A Nylon with built-in oil lubrication, Venlon© 6Gof provides superior machinability, performance, and durability in a large variety of speciality applications, compared to other plastic and traditional bearing materials. This grade of oilfield Nylon is versatile, widely used and easily machinable. It maintains all the benefits of a Cast Nylon such as light weight, impact resistance, creep resistance, resistance to brittleness and deterioration, as well as, vibration resistance yet offers many benefits of a bearing grade Nylon.

Shapes Available
Sheet, Rod, Tube (on request)

Properties
Venlon© 6Gof is carefully dispersed with an oil-based lubricant during the manufacturing process. The result is a highly crystalline, internally lubricated, high-strength engineering plastic with enhanced wear and reduced friction properties.

• Lubrication results in 25% lower coefficient of friction than other grades of nylon.
• Performs in harsh environments where lubrication is difficult, impossible, or undesirable.
• Operates efficiently in direct contact with abrasive slurries.
• Works successfully in marine applications.
• Reduced water absorption promotes higher dimensional stability.
• Works and machines as easily as brass.
• Oil will not spin out, dry out, or drain out, even under the harshest operating conditions.

Venlon© 6Gof provides better dimensional stability than regular grades: Its oil droplets fill gaps in the amorphous structure of the plastic material, allowing less room for water to be absorbed into these areas.

Applications
Gears, Sleeves, Bearings Insulators, Bushings, Scraper Blades, Sprockets, Wear Strips, Wear Pads, Rollers, Sheaves, Die Wear Plates, Pulleys, Telescoping Boom Wear Pads, Guides Slipper Blocks,
Tooling Fixtures Supports, Feed Screws, Star Wheels, Wear Rails, Valve Seats, Housings Wear Rings, Wear Shoes Seals, Conveyor Wheels, Buffer Plates, Rubbing Blocks.A Nylon with built-in oil lubrication, Venlon© 6Gof provides superior machinability, performance, and durability in a large variety of speciality applications, compared to other plastic and traditional bearing materials.
